A Levels differ from BTEC National Diplomas in that the latter are academic and the former vocational. Abitur often includes an exam, a lot of reading, and some practice exams. BTECs often have no assessment, more hands-on learning, and little or no reading requirements. It is usually assessed based on classroom assignments or direct observation.
